Steve Iacopi is a life long resident of the coastside and considers this area the best place to live. Steve grew up with a farmer as a father and a real estate broker as a mother. He spent most of his earlier life farming, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and working on trucks and tractors with his two brothers. He then went to 3 years of junior college and started a career of body and fender work. After 2 years of painting cars, he started Coastside Termite in 1995 with his brother Peter. They are both presently doing the same business and still having fun at it. Steve is married to a lovely wife and has 2 wonderful children. At a young age, Steve became interested in photography because his uncle in Santa Cruz was a pro photographer. He was amazed at how his pictures captured life in a simple yet complex way.

It wasn’t until 2007 before he bought a Canon S5 IS that is only one step above a simple point and shoot camera. He was amazed with the quality of the photos he took. That was the beginning of the photography bug. Steve now has Canon camaras, lots of pro lenses, a tripod and a camera bag that weights as much as his youngest child. He now is always searching for the time to push the shutter button and to create a simple yet complex photo of life…..
